Legendary comedian Bob, began his comedy career as a stand up comedian in the 1950s. His 1960 comedy album, 'The Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart', went straight to number one on the charts, beating Elvis Presley and the soundtrack to 'The Sound of Music'. 'Button Down Mind' received the 1960 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. He became known for his deadpan delivery and his slight stutter. Several of his funniest acts involved hearing him talk as one half of a conversation, often over the phone. He has also built a successful career playing psychologist Dr. Robert "Bob" Hartley on the 1970s sitcom The Bob Newhart Show, and as innkeeper Dick Loudon on the 1980s sitcom Newhart Now he is back to doing what got him his start, stand up. Come see him in the Snoqualmie Ballroom for a fun filled night of laughs and excitement.
