One of the highest watched American Idol Seasons ever, these two are sure put on an amazing show! Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard,the two contestants who battled for the "American Idol" title in 2003, will be here at the Snoqulamie Casino performing separately and together. Clay Aiken has never sounded more at home than he does singing the lushly arranged classics on his fifth studio album Tried and True — the international pop phenomenon’s first album for Decca Records. The bulk of the album — which showcases Aiken’s powerful tenor voice and considerable interpretive gifts — is made up of songs from the ’50s and ’60s that Aiken grew up listening to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina. Six years ago, Ruben Studdard’s life changed in an instant and it’s been changing ever since. This year has brought about even more changes, with the release of Ruben’s fourth album, Love IS (Hickory Records/19 Recordings). Love IS, is helmed by two of the most successful producers in the business, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Since its release on May 19, Love IS has been celebrated for its collection of love songs. Vibe says “The "velvet teddy bear" can belt billowing love songs” and Entertainment Weekly called the album a "mix of crafty originals and sturdy covers".
